A busy kitchen doesn't wait for good light. Steam rises at the wrong moment, a dish is plated and gone in seconds, and there's no second take once a chef moves on to the next order. This work was shot inside that pace, in real dining rooms and working kitchens rather than a studio, reading the light as it changes and catching the moment a plate looks its best before it leaves the pass. The images below are less about a perfectly controlled setup and more about staying quick enough to catch what real service actually looks like.
